Cerumen management (Ear Wax Removal)
Earwax, also known as cerumen, is a natural part of keeping your ears healthy. Sometimes, however, it can build up and cause a feeling of fullness, reduced hearing, discomfort, itching, or a blocked sensation.
At Inlet Hearing, we provide professional earwax removal, also known as cerumen management, in a comfortable clinical setting. Your ears are carefully assessed first, and the most appropriate method is used to safely and gently remove excess wax based on your individual needs.
When appropriate, we may also use a small camera to provide a clear, magnified view of the ear canal and eardrum, allowing for a more detailed assessment.
