Our practitioners will start by reviewing your case history and discussing with you the situations where you struggle with hearing the most. Understanding your hearing history and determining whether you’ve been exposed to excessive recreational or occupational noise levels is vital to building a personalized hearing plan suited to your specific needs.
We will complete a comprehensive hearing evaluation to determine your exact level and degree of hearing loss and fully review all the results with you. Depending on the findings, we may take an ear mold impression so that we can provide you with perfect fitting custom hearing aids.
Once ready, you can come to pick up your new personalized hearing aids. We will make sure the fit is comfortable and secure, and will also conduct a few tests while the hearing aids are in, to ensure they are meeting their prescriptive targets. Everyone’s hearing is unique, and our treatments will reflect that.
We want to make sure you are as comfortable as possible with using your new hearing aids. We will go over every aspect of them with you, from care and upkeep to adjustments and settings. We will ensure that you are able to get the most out of the investment you’ve made in your hearing health.
Inlet Hearing’s assistance to you doesn’t end when you leave with your new hearing aids. As you will likely need some time to acclimate and adjust to your hearing aids before they perform to their optimal level, we will continue to provide you with care, including adjustments and counseling. We want to arm you with all the information you need to get the best performance out of your hearing aids.
